MAKE SPLIT POINT, EXPLOSIVE and BRING ALL AMMOS - Regular ammo is excellent early, but you will either run out or low. They drop 2-4 Big Game meats each and pelts for sale or your trader. If you don't have them, move your camp to the Bayou or Scarlet Meadow's and go kill some gators.
You can take one when your cores get damaged, but they should last awhile in the match.
MAKE FLAVORED BIG GAME - I bring at least 8-10 Minty, Oregano and Thyme Big Game meat each into CTA. CLEAN ALL YOUR WEAPONS - Clean em w gun oil or at the gunshop - the weapons dont get dirty in there, so having a clean weapons keeps you on point with aiming and damage. PRE CALL TO ARMS: DO THESE BEFORE YOU ENTER THE MATCH My specs are: - GPU: Asus ROG strix 2080ti OC - CPU: Intel i7-8700K 3.After playing several Call to Arms (CTA) in Red Dead Online, here are some Tips and lessons learned for anyone needing some help. So my question is: Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? Yesterday I played one game of call to arms and had no issues at all. Everything went smoothly until I had 2 enemies left on round 2 and the same black screen + gpu hypermode + cut audio bullshit happened again. So after waiting for steam to locate and go through the installation folder, I started up RDR2 again and started up Call to arms blackwater. When my computer eventually booted up, steam showed me that I need to download RDR2 again (didn't actually need to download the files, because those still existed in my hard drive). My monitor lost connection to my computer and I was forced to boot up my PC. At the same time the fans of my GPU increased to full speed. So first of all I launched a call to arms macfarlane's farm and after the loading screen I got some audio for a few seconds and a black screen. I dunno if anyone else has experienced this one before, but this happened to me a few times now.
I reckon the crashing happened because of two reasons: I think Rockstar pushed out an update to the game at the time the crashing occurred and I didn't remember to update my GPU driver yesterday.
